This page is about crediting the main donors that we have worked with in recent years in case you would like to find out more about those organizations. 2005-06 PARTNERS:

Water For People – This Denver-based organization aims to alleviate suffering by providing safe drinking water

 

Simavi – A Dutch organization with a wide range of humanitarian projects

 

African Reflections – An NGO based in Albany, New York with a sister organization in Tanzania dedicated to improving the lives of African people.


UNICEF Malawi -

 

PRIOR PARTNERS:

AusAid – An Australian government department who administers aid money from Australia

 

British High Commission – Have generously donated operations vehicles to assist us with our work

 

American Embassy (Ambassador’s Funds) – Small grants from the United States International Aid pool

 

DFID – British government department who deals with issues of international development

 

Australian Volunteers International – supports us through assistance with getting experts to work with Freshwater

 

Canada Fund – Ambassador’s small grants

 

Private Donors – We also have some private donors, who I have chosen not to detail for privacy reasons.

 

Christian Aid of UK – Church based organization that supports international human rights issues, including water and sanitation

 

War On Want – An active NGO within Malawi and in other countries

 

Full Gospel Businessmen International (Newtown-Abbot Chapter) – A Malawian religious organisation

 

WaterAid Malawi – A large NGO who fund water and sanitation insfrastructure projects specifically

 

Concern Universal Malawi – Large international NGO, who did a lot of capacity building with Freshwater’s staff since inception

 

CARE International Malawi – A large NGO with interest in water and sanitation provision as well as other development goals
